About Tuolumne County Trailhead

Welcome to the Tuolumne County Trailhead blog! The blog is a companion to the Tuolumne County Trailhead radio program which aired from December 2017 through November 2021 on Sonora CA's community radio station, KAAD-LP 103.5 FM which streams at kaad-lp.org (link via "Links We Love"). Listen to archives on demand on this blog or through the program archives at kaad.lp.org.  The radio show featured interviews with rangers, interpretive folk, archaeologists, Search and Rescue volunteers, teachers, subject-matter experts, authors, advocates, enthusiasts, and a couple of personal heroes.  It also included descriptions of hikes and trails, audio trail review soundbites, and trip recommendations.  The radio project finished in November 2021, but we hope you're inspired to get out on the trail through these "internet remnants."
